Maine Adaptive:

Maine Adaptive is the largest year-round adaptive recreation program in the state of Maine for adults and children with physical disabilities. Over 400 volunteers assist athletes in appreciating the joys and challenges of sports participation.

Maine Adaptive provides over 3500 lessons winter and summer, free of charge, thanks to the generous support of individuals, businesses, corporations and foundations that sustain the program every year.

Winter lessons are held at Sunday River, you may have even seen some of the wonderful volunteers and participants while at the hill in the past. The organization provides over 1800 free adaptive lessons every winter at Sunday River from early January through March thanks to the help of volunteers.
