Who’s getting excited?

Many of you are traveling for your trip next week;  let us know if you have any questions or feel free to post a question on the Facebook group for feedback from other group members.

The forecast for Newry is showing a bit of a mix throughout the week; with temperatures potentially warming – pack your layers! Still looks like it will cool down during the nights to keep the conditions great.

The mountain report is updated daily on the Sunday River website and app; we will also plan to post screen shots on social media stories each morning.

Although we don’t have a group discount with them, wanted to mention we had a great experience at the Best Western in Woodstock. Fantastic staff, and close to the US border! As always, we have the group rates available in Bangor as well as Freeport.

We had a fantastic time last week, can’t wait to hear how the rest of our crew does next week. Please tag us on Instagram or use the hashtag #dugganskigroup ; we love to see what you are up to!

February 2020

Happy Monday! Sunday River is starting the week with 12” of new snow in the past week and 30” average base depth. 129 trails are open; the most open terrain in New England!

If you haven’t already, don’t forget to book any hotels you might need for travel along the way. We have the discounts and booking information for these here.

You also may want to download the mobile app, it is a great way to check out the trail map in advance as well as view current conditions while on site.

We also spotted some familiar faces on the Sundar River website this morning, and had to share. 😉

Keep sharing our group and bring your friends along. We love being a part of your family traditions.

Miscellaneous Updates

Sunday River:

Hopefully you won’t need this information, but if you are in need of car repairs while at the resort: we had work done at the Savage Auto service center in Bethel last year and they were very helpful.

General:

We have updated the website to include a weather page to pull together a number of locations that may be helpful at a glance while you are travelling and looking ahead to the trip. This page can be found by clicking here or can be found under the General Info drop-down in the main menu.

Latest Conditions

We thought those of you not following us on Facebook might be missing out on some of the recent pictures we have been sharing of both Jay Peak and Sunday River!

Conditions at both resorts are looking excellent, with so much more snow than we are seeing here in Nova Scotia! Jay Peak has received close to 3 feet of snow in the past 6 days with even more snow in the forecast tomorrow. Sunday River has also had it’s fair share of the white stuff and is predicting over 6 inches tomorrow.
