Did you miss the latest price bump? The updated prices for Sunday River have been posted; these new rates are valid until December 15th.
Our booking page has all the updated info 🙂
The leaves are changing, there is a coolness in the air, and Sunday River has even reported snowflakes in recent weeks! What does that mean for us? The first Sunday River price increase is happening very soon!
The current prices are valid through October 15th, 2019 and are set to increase after that. We do not know what the price increase will be, but they have gone up at this time in the past.
If you are thinking of booking a trip, now is a great time to do so and save some money on your trip. One night stay is due at the time of booking as your deposit on the accomodations portion of the trip.
Remember, you book directly through the Sunday River website using our special group discount code to save even more. All of the details can be found on our detailed booking post.
Don’t miss out on the savings!
Happy Monday! We are starting to update our site with information for 2020; you can find updated rates and information for Sunday River, under the Sunday River tab and by viewing the updated Duggan Ski Group 2020 flyer.
These rates are valid until October 15th, 2019, and includes the following eligible dates: March 1-6, 2020; March 8-13, 2020; and March 15-20, 2020
More information to come for Jay Peak 🙂
Thank you for another great year! We saw some of the best snow conditions in recent memory at both Sunday River and Jay Peak. We hope everyone had a wonderful vacation!
Once we receive new information on the Sunday River booking process for 2020, we will be sure to pass it along and update the site. They are planning on making improvements to the process and we know our group members always have a fantastic time there.
Hard to believe, but the planning for our 2020 Jay Peak trip has already begun. The pricing is yet to be finalized, but we have prebooked a block of rooms for group members. We have already booked 6 rooms at Hotel Jay – this was the earliest we have ever booked rooms! We have received such amazing feedback on Jay Peak that we are happy to be booking vacations here again for the upcoming season.
Here in Nova Scotia, the March break dates will be March 16 – 20, 2020. This also aligns with the Ontario school system March break, which means there will be a high demand for rooms and less availability than we have had in the past. If you know you are interested in a ski vacation, best to book early and secure your spot. At this time, we are taking names for Jay Peak on a tentative basis – no deposit required. As always, rooms are on a first come, first serve basis.
We will be updating our photos on the site and sharing some to our Facebook page, please feel free to share some of your own!
EDIT – SOLD!!! We have a snowboard posted for sale on kijiji if anyone was interested (boots and board)!
At one time we maintained a buy and sell section here on the site, with members contributing ski and snowboard related items they were looking to sell. If there is interest in this again let us know!
The current prices at Sunday River are current until tomorrow, February 15th. If you are thinking of booking, book now to avoid the next price increase! See our page for more info and share our booking code with friends.
Hopefully you won’t need this information, but if you are in need of car repairs while at the resort: we had work done at the Savage Auto service center in Bethel last year and they were very helpful.
Jay Peak Resort:
Housekeeping is offered daily at Hotel Jay and Tram Haus Lodge. There will be Keurig machines in each room, and a small stash of K-cups will be given daily.
Our unfilled rooms are being dropped from our group tomorrow, February 15th. What does this mean for you? If you haven’t yet booked, rooms will now be on a first come, first served basis from the resort. We will need to check with them for availability for each request and hope there is something still available.
We have updated the website to include a weather page to pull together a number of locations that may be helpful at a glance while you are travelling and looking ahead to the trip. This page can be found by clicking here or can be found under the General Info drop-down in the main menu.
Below are our most used page links; be sure to check them out if you are looking for information:
Remember, there is a lot of valuable information to be found from the pages on the top menu bar (or by clicking the top left menu button if you are visiting us on mobile)! The information is mainly based on questions we have been asked over the years. If you have anything you would like us to add, please let us know.

We wanted to share some information on this weekend’s demo day at Ski Wentworth.
This weekend (Saturday, February 2nd and Sunday, February 3rd from 10am – 2pm) Aerobics First will be at Ski Wentworth with industry reps showcasing all the latest and greatest skis for you to try. They will have skis from Head, Salomon, Atomic, Rossignol & Volkl, as well as goggles from Zeal to test.
This can be a great chance to try out some different gear, and the best part – it’s completely free!
Aerobics First (here in Halifax) is also currently offering 20% off all adult skis and boots for season pass holders at Martock, Wentworth or Ben Eion, in-store (just bring your pass to show staff at time of purchase).
Note – we aren’t affiliated with Aerobics First but love to share local information and events with you. We have taken advantage of demo opportunities in the past ourselves, and find the experience to be extremely helpful when shopping for any new gear.
For anyone travelling to Sunday River this year, we have some helpful information to pass along regarding your lift passes.
We recommend purchasing the March Canadian Passport, which is valid for skiing at Sunday River from March 1, 2019 through to the end of the season. Current prices are valid until February 15, 2019.
When you arrive at the hill at the start of your vacation, your season passes will not be waiting for you at the hotel when you check in – you must go to the season pass desk at South Ridge Lodge in order to pick up your pass. Your photo will be taken and your pass will be created for you.
You will be required to sign a Liability Release Form as well for your Canadian March Passport. There is a link to an electronic signature option through the Sunday River site here for you to sign in advance: E-Sign Season Pass Liability Release Form.
Don’t forget, benefits of the March Passport include 20% savings on dining cards, retail, SnowSports School and rentals during March.
Dining cards can be purchased at the season pass desk at South Ridge Lodge; simply show your March Passport when purchasing services or other items to receive the discount.
Any other questions on picking up your pass please let us know!
Today is the last day for the current pricing at Sunday River!
If you are thinking of a vacation, booking today will ensure you secure the price before the scheduled increase tomorrow.
All the information you need can be found on our Booking at Sunday River page.
